Joan Steinau Lester ‘62
Joan recently published her fifth book and first adult novel, Mama’s Child. The book is a civil-rights era story with a foreword by Alice Walker and was selected as an editor’s pick by Ebony magazine. Joan also published Fire in My Soul, the biography of Antiochian Eleanor Holmes Norton, 10 years ago.

Jay Tuck ’68
Jay premiered his latest documentary, “In the Days Before Zayed,” on German television. The 45-minute documentary of the early years of Abu Dhabi, the times before Sheikh Zayed, was written and directed by Tuck.
