The Office of Advancement is thrilled to announce the winner of the 2014 Giving Tuesday project competition:
The C-SHOP Revival with 1,155 votes! Congrats on the $5,000 prize!
2nd place went to the CSKC Resource Room and 3rd place to the Speech & Debate Team.
The voting was close, particularly among the top three projects. The Office of the President has generously recognized that support by adding a $2,500 award to the CSKC Resource Room and a $1,000 award to the Speech and Debate team for their impressive 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
The winner of the $1,000 prize for student participation is the Defenestration Gallery! This $1,000 prize was made possible by an incredibly generous donor within our community. Thank you!
Projects not receiving 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prize OR the student participation prize will receive $250!
The biggest winner of all, however, is truly Antioch College. On Tuesday, we processed donations from a total of 552 donors. With press coverage in the Yellow Springs News and Dayton Daily News, all of our efforts brought energy, excitement and attention to the College in very positive ways. We should all be proud of our work!
We raised $26,921.00 yesterday. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success!
