Daytime Activities

8:30 AM & 10:00 AM - ANTIOCH ALUMNI WORKS!

Have you ever wondered how you can assist Antioch College in addition to your generous financial support?  Come to one or two of the following workshops where you can participate in activities that make a real difference in the lives of students and the health of the College!

      • Alumni Recruitment Team (ART)
Help attract our next generation of Antiochians by assisting the Office of Admission in your community. Admission staff will present an overview of how to adopt a high school or community college, manage a college fair booth, and communicate with prospective students and their parents. This is one of the most productive things you can do for Antioch.
      • Co-op
Our flagship Co-op Program has been a central component of Antioch’s progressive education model for nearly a century. Since the College's independence and reopening in 2011, students have engaged in over a thousand co-op placements in 35 countries. This session will provide an opportunity for alumni to consider how they can help by cultivating co-op job opportunities, expanding housing options, generating funds to make volunteer job opportunities more feasible, documenting co-op stories, and broadening networks of support for students overall. We believe every alumna/us has something to offer and all are welcome to attend!
      • Reunion 2018 and Beyond!
Reunion is the central organizing activity for Alumni in the calendar year. It is where we reconnect with old friends and make new ones, focus on a theme or area of expertise, engage in the work project and reinvest in our alma mater.  Each year we gather ideas and examples of activities that alums wish to see at the event.  Past reunion planners have a wealth of information that we don’t want to overlook. Come share your wisdom for Reunion 2018 and beyond!
      • Chapter Organizers
If you are a current chapter organizer or if you wish to start a chapter in your community, please plan to attend this informative session to learn from your peers about activities and tools that work to build a robust chapter organization. Antioch College Chapters are the building blocks of active alumni involvement!
      • Community Governance (CG) Inter-Generational Teach-In
Current students will discuss the College community's emerging shared governance plan and receive feedback from alumni with CG experience.
      • Tell Your Antioch Story of Change! ( 30 Minute times slots from 8:30am-10:30am)
Antioch is renowned for its commitment to making change at every level of society. We have an amazing opportunity to work with our own radio station (WYSO) to document our alumnae Stories of Change. These stories can be broadcast, archived, used to recruit students, and showcased at reunions and other alumni gatherings to share the important impacts of Antioch College. We invite you to reflect on your Antioch Adventures and be interviewed by a current Antioch student.  Prompt questions will be provided in advance.

11:30 AM - LUNCH & ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING

Join the Alumni Association Board of Directors for an open meeting over lunch.

12:30 PM - STATE OF THE COLLEGE

Right after lunch we will hear from President Tom Manley during the State of the College address.
